About the Owner

I am the proud owner of MoveMint Kinderkinetics and a registered Kinderkineticist, with a deep passion for working with children and supporting their development through every milestone.

I graduated cum laude in 2024 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Sport Coaching and Human Movement Sciences and am a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. I furthered my studies in 2025 by completing my BHSc Honours Degree in Kinderkinetics, allowing me to offer specialised, evidence-based movement programmes tailored to each child’s individual needs.

When I’m not working with little ones, I enjoy spending time at the beach, swimming in the sea, and staying as active as possible.

What Is Kinderkinetics?

Child practising hopping during a movement session Child movement activity Child building with blocks to support coordination

Kinderkinetics is a specialised paediatric field that promotes and supports children’s neuromotor development through scientifically based physical activity. Programmes are designed for children between the ages of 0–13 years and focus on building strong movement foundations in a playful, age-appropriate way.

In South Africa, the profession is represented and regulated by the South African Professional Institute for Kinderkinetics (SAPIK), the professional body responsible for registration and professional standards.

Physical Foundations

Play-based activities help children practice balance, coordination, posture, and fundamental movement patterns like running, jumping, and catching.

Learning Readiness

Movement experiences can support classroom readiness by developing body awareness, spatial understanding, and visual-motor coordination needed for everyday school tasks.

Confidence & Participation

Structured progression builds confidence to participate in play, sport, and daily activities while keeping sessions supportive and fun.
